About

I’m a PhD from Michigan State University-USA in Curriculum, Instruction, and Teacher Education. I was awarded Certificate in Science Education in 2013 by the College of Education at Michigan State University. I worked as the Head and a faculty member, Department of Education at Fatima Jinnah Women University (FJWU), Rawalpindi – Pakistan. I started my career as a school teacher in a missionary school and taught English, general science, biology, and chemistry at  elementary and secondary levels. After serving school for 12/5 years, I joined FJWU in October, 2005. Since then, I have been playing my part in preparing future teachers. As a researcher, I’m interested in teacher mentoring, in-service and pre-service teacher professional development, qualitative research, and the development of novice teacher mentors’ professional identity.
